The Principles I Stand By
“I don’t sell dreams. I audit reality.”
I'm not the most well-known insurance agent, nor the one with the most clients or awards. My background is in systems audit and analysis — COBIT, the IT Infrastructure Library (ITIL), Bank Indonesia's IT standards (PBI) — long before I became an insurance agent. That mindset never left me. I bring an auditor's discipline into an industry that's too often run on selling dreams.
Truth over comfort
Clients deserve accurate information about the products, plans, and solutions I bring to the table — not just what's easiest to hear. Integrity is non-negotiable in how I do business. If a product doesn't serve a client's actual goal, I won't sell it — no matter how hard my target is pushing me.
Not the cheapest price, but equal clarity
I don't offer clients discounts — not out of rigidity, but because I want every client to receive the same quality of advice, without exception. The value I deliver isn't measured by a price cut, but by clarity I can stand behind for anyone I work with.
Constantly earning the right
Before diving into a technical dive, I train until I'm actually fit to use the gear. I bring that same principle into this business: I won't recommend something complex to someone I haven't helped understand the consequences of — and I never stop learning to stay worthy of being trusted as a legacy and life insurance advisor.
I choose to be trusted, not just big
I once tried building a large team. That team fell apart. What I learned from it: I'd rather be someone whose way of working can be fully accounted for, than run a large team whose members' work I can't personally vouch for one by one. For me, a large team is a byproduct — being trusted is the goal.
Upholding business ethics
I uphold business ethics at every step — from how I approach a prospective client to how I maintain the relationship after a policy is issued. Having helped clients who were let down by agents who became hard to reach only confirmed for me that ethics isn't an add-on, it's the foundation of how I work. I don't use pushy or manipulative tactics, and I don't need status symbols to look successful. My success is measured by how consistently I stay present and reachable when a client actually files a claim.
“I'm not the agent with the most sales. I'm the agent who's most verifiable — including when my clients file a claim.”
